FreeStyle/GT 31 LED Fixture

The Kino Flo FreeStyle 31 LED fixture is an LED lamp head that forms part of a system or kit including the required LED Select 150 DMX controller. The fixture measures 103 x 27 x 9.0 cm with 16.5 cm barndoors and weighs 7.0 kg - light enough to be handheld. The fixture is supplied with a removable 90-degree honeycomb grid. In fact, the LED panel can also be removed from its housing for mounting options. The fixture operates on 100 to 240 V AC power via its optional controller.
The FreeStyle 31 requires a head cable and controller (sold separately) to operate. The LED-150X controller offers a complete set of 6 channels of control functions and operating options. It has 2 menus for colour and a "white menu" for dimming, Kelvin temperature and green/magenta settings. Using one of the colour menus extends the Kelvin range from a warm 2500 to an icy blue 9900 K. The second colour menu allows working with RGB, a real advantage when using colour wheels or RGB presets. The fourth channel (called the Gel channel) has presets for over 100 well-known temperature modification gels, including blue/green screen, sodium vapour and mercury vapour. A fifth channel allows hue adjustments across a 360-degree range like a colour wheel, whilst the 6th Saturation channel controls the intensity of the chosen colour. The required controller has built-in DMX for making adjustments remotely from a console and is also compatible with Lumen Radio wireless DMX. The LED-150X controller operates on 100 to 240 V AC power for worldwide use. It comes with a 2-pin Euro plug but can be used with any wall socket with the appropriate and inexpensive plug adapter.

FreeStyle 151 LED DMX Controller

The Kino Flo LED controller for Select 21 and 31 fixtures is a detachable controller for LED Select 21 or Select 31 heads. The controller can be mounted to the rear of the lighting head or used remotely up to 7.6 m with an optional extension cable. It allows the fixture to produce a constant light level over a variable range of 2500 to 9900 K in the Colour menu. The White menu has dimming, Kelvin and green/magenta adjustment channels. The Colour menu provides access to Gel, Hue Angle and Saturation channels. The Gel channel includes presets such as blue and green screen, sodium vapour, mercury vapour and over 100 well-known lighting gels. The Hue Angle and Saturation channels work like a traditional colour wheel with a 360-degree colour range and choice of colour intensity. The detachable controller has a display screen for menu navigation and information display, as well as physical buttons for navigation and adjustments. This wired DMX controller is complemented by wireless DMX, provided by Lumen Radio. It can accept worldwide AC mains power and can also be powered by DC via a 3-pin XLR connector.
