Kinoflo Image L40 LED DMX Pole-Op, Univ

Flexibility and extensive control options are essential to the production of the Kino Flo Image L40 DMX LED Panel with Pole-Operated Mount. The 137.2 x 16.5 x 43.2 cm panel uses four menus with multiple channels that have functionalities which can be controlled on the fixture via traditional wired DMX or by Lumen Radio wireless DMX. The White menu allows control of dimming from 1 to 100%, colour control from 2700 to 6500 K and Green/Magenta control. There are two colour menus. In the Gels/Hue menu, the Kelvin range is extended from 2500 to 9900 K.

Among the channels is one called Gel which offers several presets for lighting conditions, such as mercury vapour, and 100 commonly used gel filters. A channel called Hue Angle and another called Saturation (Sat) are also included in the Gel menu and work together as a 360-degree colour wheel offering over two million colour combinations.

The second colour menu offers RGB (Red, Green, Blue) control, allowing a user-selected combination to achieve any colour in the visible spectrum. The RGB menu also allows you to dial in specific gel RGB values or control colours from a DMX console. Finally, there is an FX menu that creates effects such as Candle, Fire, TV, Police, Lightning, Paparazzi, Pulse and Scroll. Within each effect, there are presets that vary the parameters or modify the speed of the chosen effect.

The Image L40 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100 to 240 V AC power supply. The fixture is supplied with a 90-degree honeycomb grid to tighten its beam angle and limit stray light, providing directional control for selective lighting. This version of the fixture features a pole-operated mount for overhead suspension from a grid or pipe. Pan and tilt adjustments are made from below using a long pole.
