The Aputure INFINIMAT family consists of full-color RGBWW pixelated LED mats with inflatable softboxes. With multiple mat size options, IP65 weatherproofing from head to toe, and the ability to power and control multiple light mats using a single control box, the INFINIMAT family is an adaptable system of easily deployable lights in challenging shooting environments where device weight and speed of installation are of utmost importance.
Each INFINIMAT is designed to attach perfectly to a corresponding size inflatable softbox using a hook-and-loop system around the edge of the mats. The inflated softbox provides the structural support needed to hold together the mat, lighting control grid, and skirt when the assembly is hung overhead or mounted on stands.
Each INFINIMAT also offers multiple mounting methods. From a carbon fiber support with a new K-Mount ball head ending in an extended knurled baby pin or TVMP mount, to butterfly frames, Speed-Rail and truss, all INFINIMATs can be mounted or supported through various methods. Combined with multiple INFINIMAT sizes to choose from and the ability to stack mats to create custom soft light sources, INFINIMATs are one of the most versatile device families on the market.
Depending on the size of the INFINIMAT, users will have a choice between two control box options: a 400W or 1600W box. Both control boxes can simultaneously power and control multiple lights with power consumption levels up to the control box's capacity. This improves cable management and reduces the weight and complexity of lighting setups requiring multiple INFINIMATs. Additionally, the 400W control boxes feature AC power pass-through, allowing users to daisy-chain multiple 400W control boxes using Neutrik PowerCon cables. This AC power pass-through feature further enhances the cable management experience when using multiple INFINIMATs, as users will only need to plug in one power cable for an entire set of INFINIMATs.
The INFINIMAT's full-color LED chipset enables extensive color controls across its wide CCT range from 2,000K to 10,000K with green-magenta adjustment and >90% coverage of colors in the Rec. 2020 color space. Designed for professional film production, INFINIMATs feature advanced connectivity options (including control via Sidus Link app, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net & sACN via etherCON, and 16-bit DMX512). And thanks to their robust IP65 dust and weather-resistant construction, INFINIMATs can withstand the most demanding shooting environments without compromising performance or reliability.
