The Sonnet Tempo 2.5" SATA PCI Express 6 Gb/s SSD card is a PCIe card capable of controlling two SSDs and supports OS X or Windows RAID functionality. The card features a SATA 6 Gb/s controller chipset and a PCIe 2.0 x2 interface to deliver read speeds of up to 660 MB/s with a pair of SSDs configured in RAID 0. AHCI compliance means that installing the card is simple; simply secure your SSDs with the supplied screws, mount the card in an available PCIe slot and power on your computer - the necessary drivers install automatically. Drive health monitoring is supported via S.M.A.R.T. data reporting.
