Tiffen PRO100 Skyline Kit
This Tiffen Pro100 Skyline filter kit contains a Pro100 series filter holder and two anodised aluminium alloy adapter rings to attach to lenses with front thread diameters of 77 mm. A sunset graduated filter and a twilight graduated filter are also provided, along with a case for storing and carrying the filters.
The sunset graduated filter can be used to add an orange and yellow tint to complement an existing sunrise or sunset in a scene, or to enhance a hazy or colourless sky. When used to enhance the sky in an image, the desired effect can be applied only to the sky, without any unwanted changes in other parts of the image.
The twilight graduated filter can be applied to simulate the effect of dusk in an image that would otherwise have a hazy or colourless sky, or it can be used to enhance existing colours when photographing at dusk whilst allowing normal, unaffected exposure in other regions of the image. This filter achieves its effect through a band of pink colour above its central region, which extends in both directions before fading to become transparent on one side and lavender on the other.
The Tiffen Pro100 Series camera filter bag in this kit offers a safe and convenient carrying and storage solution for any combination of up to four 4 x 4" rectangular filters or four 94 mm circular filters. Filters placed in this bag are easily accessible by opening its Velcro closure lid which features a label window on top. Inside, the filters are separated by three compartments and are protected by a soft, non-abrasive polyester interior lining, as well as padding at the front and rear of the bag. The exterior of the bag is made of ballistic nylon for water resistance, and an integrated belt loop with tactile tab closure is located at the rear.
