The Tiffen 4.5" Clear Uncoated filter is a simple and clear filter designed for general protection of your lens. This optically transparent filter does not affect the overall image quality whilst helping to reduce dust, scratches, moisture and other elements that may damage your lens. This filter is uncoated for greater durability compared to multi-coated filters.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
