The new Tiffen Smoque filter produces a smoke effect without the cost and inconvenience of a generator or the smoke it produces.
Mechanical smoke generators are often used to add atmospheric haze to a scene. This can serve to enhance realism in locations where smoke is normally present, such as a nightclub or fire scene. Most often, smoke is added to create a certain "look".
