The Tiffen Filter Wheel 1 Glimmerglass 1/4 is a dual-function beauty filter: as well as modifying the appearance of the image itself, it presents a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, thus inspiring more confidence in the subject. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 1/4 provides the lowest level of softening and overall image modification.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch.
