Tiffen 105 mm 2.1 Neutral Density Coarse Thread Filter
 
The Tiffen 105 mm 2.1 Neutral Density Coarse Thread filter is a uniform ND filter with a 128x filter factor that offers a 7-stop exposure reduction. Its 2.1 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can more easily control depth of field and convey movement. Neutral density filters do not affect image colouration and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This filter is made from water white glass and uses ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinds it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounts it in precision metal rings.
