Tiffen Black Glimmerglass 6.6 x 6.6" Diffusion Filter (Density 1/4)
Designed for filmmakers, this Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" Black Glimmerglass diffusion filter features a 1/4 density for a subtle effect. It is designed to gently soften the image and reduce detail resolution, often sought after by videographers who wish to simulate the look of film shot on celluloid whilst using digital equipment. The filter is made from water white glass and can be mounted on compatible square filter holders.
This Black Glimmerglass model gives a muted and washed-out appearance to bright colours and reduces contrast through its white halation effect. It can smooth out unwanted imperfections, wrinkles or other fine details on a subject's face whilst keeping the overall image sharp, making it particularly suitable for portrait work. Manufactured using ColorCore technology, each Tiffen filter is designed to be precise in its effect and produce consistent results.
