Tiffen Black Satin 6.6 x 6.6" Diffusion Filter (1/8 Density) 
Designed for filmmakers, this Tiffen Black Satin 6.6 x 6.6" diffusion filter features a low density of 1/8 for a subtle effect. It is designed to gently soften the image and reduce detail resolution, often sought after by videographers who wish to simulate the appearance of film whilst shooting with digital equipment. The filter is manufactured from water-white glass and can be mounted on compatible square filter holders.
This Black Satin model has a more granular appearance than ordinary satin, and gently controls highlights whilst reducing the overall contrast of the image. It can smooth unwanted blemishes, wrinkles or other fine details on a subject's face whilst keeping the overall image sharp, making it ideal for portrait work. Manufactured with ColorCore technology, each Tiffen filter is designed to be precise in its effect and produce consistent results.
