Tiffen Digital Diffusion/FX 3 6.6 x 6.6' Filter

The Tiffen Digital Diffusion/FX 3 6.6 x 6.6' filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to be invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or contrast loss for more subtle applications. It helps to minimise facial imperfections, wrinkles, and gently smooths textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 3 offers more softening than 2, but less than 4.
This filter is manufactured from Water White glass and uses ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6 mm.
