Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" Water White Natural IRND 0.3 (1 Stop) Filter 

The Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" Water White Natural IRND 0.3 Filter is an ND filter with a 2x filter factor that provides a 1-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.3 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters are designed not to affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
The design of this filter has been optimised for use with digital sensors and to promote near-flat attenuation of both visible and infrared light. Due to the increased sensitivity of imaging sensors to infrared light, compared to traditional film, colour casts can occur when photographing darker subjects requiring extended exposure times.
This Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" Water White Natural IRND 0.3 filter is made from Water White glass for increased clarity as well as colour fidelity. It is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and measures 4 mm thick.
