Combining infrared attenuation with solid neutral density, the 4.5" IRND 0.3 Round Filter from Tiffen is a versatile solution for reducing exposure values and achieving neutral colour. The neutral density portion of the filter provides 1 stop of exposure reduction for working with longer shutter speeds or wider apertures. The IR portion attenuates infrared wavelengths above 700nm to facilitate working with CCD and CMOS sensors in challenging lighting conditions where infrared pollution can affect colour balance. This IR design also works proportionally to the density value, allowing you to achieve comparably neutral results from one density to another across various lighting conditions. The filter is constructed from water white optical glass and uses Tiffen's ColorCore technology to maintain clarity and quality. It measures 4.5" in diameter and is suitable for use in certain matte boxes and lens shades.nnn- Eliminating the need to use multiple filters at once, this filter combines two distinct effects to reduce the number of filter surfaces used.n- The IRND 0.3 filter provides 1 stop of exposure reduction to allow working with longer shutter speeds or wider apertures than normally required.n- The infrared-attenuating design eliminates IR leakage above 700nm, is proportional to the neutral density value, and helps ensure clean and accurate colours as well as true blacks.n- Constructed with ColorCore technology in water white optical glass to maintain image quality.n- Measures 4.5" in diameter and is suitable for use with certain matte boxes and lens shades.nnnSpecificationsnna
