ARRI FSND 6.6"x6.6" Basic Filter Kit
This ARRI Full Spectrum Neutral Density Filter Basic Set contains three solid 6.6 x 6.6" neutral density filters, each 4 mm thick. Each can be used to create an overall darkening of the image, allowing you to shoot or photograph with a wider aperture or a slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can more easily control depth of field or depict motion. These neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of a scene or image, are ideal for combining with other filters, and their plane-parallel surfaces help ensure sharp results.
The included filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens by one, two, and three stops respectively. Each filter is made from durable Schott B270i glass, multi-coated to minimise reflections, offer improved beading with water or oil for more effective cleaning, and enhance surface durability. Additionally, the filters feature black C-shaped edges. This rounded edge shape resists chipping while the black colouring reduces the potential for reflections along the sides of the scene or image during use.
For organisation in large equipment inventories, a unique GS1 barcode is assigned to each filter. In addition to being laser-engraved on the edge of the filter, the barcode is repeated on the glassine envelope, the pouch, and the individual box of each filter. The durable nylon construction of the filter pouches provides reliable protection during storage or transport in a larger bag or case; and like the non-abrasive interior of each pouch, the antistatic properties of the included microfibre cleaning cloth enhance its ability to keep filters free of dust.
