ARRI FSND Pro 4"x5.65" filter kit
This professional ARRI Full Spectrum neutral density filter kit contains eight solid neutral density filters measuring 4 x 5.65", with a thickness of 4 mm. Each can be used to create a darkening of the entire image, allowing recording or shooting with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can more easily control depth of field or represent motion. These neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of a scene or image, are ideal for use in combination with other filters, and their plane-parallel surfaces help ensure sharp results.
The included filters reduce the amount of light entering the lens by one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight stops respectively. Each filter is made from durable Schott B270i glass, multi-coated to minimise reflections, ensure better beading of water or oil for more effective cleaning, and improve surface durability. In addition, the filters feature C-shaped black edges. This rounded edge shape resists chipping while the black colour reduces the potential for reflections along the sides of the scene or framed image during use.
For organisation in large equipment inventories, a unique GS1 barcode is assigned to each filter. In addition to being laser-engraved along the edge of a filter, the barcode is repeated on each filter's crystal case, the filter pouch, and the individual box. The durable nylon construction of the filter pouches provides reliable protection during storage or transport in a bag or larger case; and like the non-abrasive interior of each pouch, the antistatic properties of the included microfibre cleaning cloth enhance its ability to keep filters free of dust.
