The Tiffen 4.5-inch Ultra Circular Polarising Filter is a remarkable filter designed to add much more "punch" to your images.

If a traditional polariser doesn't give you enough "pep", the "Ultra" polariser offers you a bit more.

It will intensify your blue skies even further - making the difference between a good photograph and an exceptional image.

Reflected light rays become polarised. Polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can eliminate unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colours, providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and varied by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to the rotation of the filter and its orientation relative to the sun.

Water White glass is characterised by high transmission quality. Typically, it transmits 98-99% of light. It also has anti-glare and anti-reflection properties that make it useful in a wide range of applications, including the film industry, shop windows and art exhibitions. The glass is virtually flawless and is becoming increasingly present in digital equipment.
