The Tiffen 4 x 4" 81EF Light Balancing filter reduces the colour temperature by 650K to slightly warm the image to match the colour quality of the lighting. When using an 81EF filter, you can achieve a balance of 3200K when the dominant light source is 3850K. The warming effect of this filter requires a 0.6-stop exposure increase for normal results.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 optical glass plates and grinds it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm.
