The Tiffen 4 x 4" 85 Colour Conversion Filter helps reduce the colour temperature from 5500 to 3400K, allowing the use of tungsten-balanced film under daylight conditions. The warming effect of this filter requires an exposure increase of 0.6 stop for normal results.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm.
