The Tiffen 4 x 4" 85C colour conversion filter reduces the colour temperature from 5500 to 3800K, allowing the use of tungsten-balanced film in daylight conditions. The warming effect of this filter requires an increase of 0.3 stops for normal results.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of one 10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm.
