The Tiffen Bronze Glimmerglass 1 4 x 4" filter is a beauty filter with a dual function: in addition to altering the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed head-on, which inspires more confidence in the model. The filter itself imparts a bronze tint to the image and helps soften skin details and imperfections. It also produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal look. Density 1 offers more bronze tint than the 1/2, but less than the 2. This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm.
