The Tiffen Bronze Glimmerglass 2 4 x 4" filter is a dual-function enhancement filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it also has a shimmering appearance when viewed from the front, inspiring more confidence in the subject. The filter itself imparts a bronze tint to the image and helps to soften skin details and blemishes. It also produces glowing highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal look. Density 2 offers more bronze tint than 1, but less than 3. This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm
