The Tiffen Glimmerglass 1 4 x 4" filter is a dual-function enhancement filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, thus inspiring more confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes and wrinkles. It also produces bright highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 1 offers more softening than 1/2, but less than 2.

This filter is manufactured with ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm.
