The Tiffen 4 x 4" Glimmerglass 2 Filter is a dual-purpose enhancement filter: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, thus inspiring more confidence in the subject. The filter itself helps soften skin detail, imperfections and wrinkles. It also produces bright highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 2 provides more softening than density 1, but less than 3.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishes it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6mm.
