Combining three distinct effects in a single filter, the Tiffen IRND 0.6 Glimmerglass 1 4 x 4" filter provides a 2-stop exposure reduction, attenuates infrared wavelengths and gently softens skin details whilst adding a luminous effect to highlights. Designed for use with high-definition video capture with CMOS and CCD sensors, this filter compensates for the increased red sensitivity of these sensors to produce cleaner, more accurate colours, whilst eliminating the overly sharp "digital" appearance for a softer image quality. The filter is constructed from water white optical glass to maintain clarity and measures 4 x 4" / 101.6 x 101.6 mm to fit perfectly in lightweight or clip-on matte boxes.
