The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" CC05G Green Filter is a colour compensation (or colour correction) filter used to make white balance adjustments. It can be placed in front of a light source or your camera lens to modify the colour balance of a scene. It can also be used to apply colour corrections when using an enlarger in a darkroom or to help preview colour adjustments when examining prints.

Green is the opposite colour to magenta and can be used to reduce magenta tones or colour casts in a scene or print. This CC05 green filter is less dense than a CC10 filter and requires a compensation of 0.3 stops to obtain normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.
