The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" CC10G Green Filter is a colour compensation (or colour correction) filter used to make colour balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the colour balance of a scene by placing it in front of a light source or your camera lens. It can also be used to apply colour corrections when used in a darkroom with an enlarger or to help preview colour adjustments when viewing prints.

Green is the opposite of magenta and can be used to reduce magenta tones or colour casts in a scene or print. This CC10 Green is denser than a CC05 filter and less dense than a CC20 filter, and requires 0.3 f-stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.
