This red filter is ideal for significantly enhancing contrast as it completely absorbs green and blue and enhances red. In addition to contrast control, red filters enhance skin tones, tonal corrections and are effective for more dramatic landscapes.
This filter is made of glass and measures 100 x 140 mm (4x5.65") x 4 mm thick.
- Clouds are considerably accentuated, almost to a storm-like atmosphere; Darkens blue sky creating dramatic contrast between sky and clouds
- It is most effective in reducing haze, and moonlight effects are easily achieved; Creates greater contrast between foliage and flowers
- It is also suitable for infrared photography
