This deep red filter is ideal for significantly enhancing contrast as it completely absorbs green and blue whilst enhancing red. In addition to contrast control, it enhances skin tones, tonal corrections and is effective for more dramatic landscapes.
This filter is made of glass and measures 100 x 125 mm (4x5”) x 4 mm thick.
- Stronger than a #25
- Clouds are spectacularly enhanced, almost to a stormy mood; Darkens blue sky creating dramatic contrast between sky and clouds
- Use with a polariser for dramatic black and white effects
- It is most effective for penetrating haze, and moonlight effects are easily achieved; Creates greater contrast between foliage and flowers
- Used in scientific photography
