The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 4 Cool Blue soft-edge graduated filter helps to specifically add cool blue-violet colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing part of the image to remain neutral in colour. The filter colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a soft-edge transition between the density areas and clear areas. Colour density 4 provides less cool blue colouration than density 5, but more than the density 3 filter.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.


Note: The transition line of a horizontal orientation filter is parallel to the long side of the filter.
