The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" Blue 2 Hard-Edge Graduated filter is a hard-edge graduated colour filter that provides a blue colouration to the image, giving a cooling effect to your photographs. The graduated filter design maintains a neutral portion of the image, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the density colour. Density 2 provides a less pronounced blue tint than the density 3 filter, but more than the density 1 filter.

Tiffen filters are manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process which involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm and features a horizontal orientation; meaning the transition line of the filter is parallel to the long side of the filter.
