The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 2 Red Soft Edge Graduated filter allows you to specifically add warm, bright red colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to remain neutral. nnThe filter colouration is densest at the edge and fades towards the centre, with a soft transition between the density areas and the clear areas. nnColour density 2 provides less red colouration than density 3, but more than the density 1 filter.nnThis filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.nThe horizontal orientation of the filter means that the transition line is parallel to the long side of the filter.nnIt provides bright red colouration to specific areas of the image.nnThe graduated filter design maintains a portion of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the density colour.
