The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 2 Skyfire graduated filter allows you to specifically add a unique orange to yellow gradient to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to remain neutral in colour. The filter colouration is denser at the edge and fades to transparent in the middle, with a smooth transition between the density areas and transparent areas. Colour density 2 provides less Skyfire colouration than density 3, but more than the density 1 filter. This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishes it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm. Note: The transition line of a vertically oriented filter is parallel to the short side of the filter. - Provides a unique orange to yellow gradient across half of the filter plane. - The graduated filter design keeps a portion of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
