The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 3 Cyan Graduated Soft Edge filter helps to specifically add vibrant cyan colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to maintain a neutral colour.

The filter's colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear towards the middle, with a smooth transition between the dense and clear areas. The colour density of 3 provides less cyan colouration than density 4, but more than the density 2 filter.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.

The transition line of a filter in horizontal orientation is parallel to the long side of the filter.

Provides vibrant cyan colouration to selected areas of the image.

The graduated filter design maintains a portion of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
