The Tiffen Glimmerglass 1/16 4 x 5.65" Filter is a dual-function beautifying filter: in addition to altering the appearance of the image itself, it has a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, which inspires greater confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin detail, imperfections and wrinkles. It also produces luminous highlights and a slight reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. Density 1/16 provides less softening than the 1/8.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.
