The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 2 Straw Hard Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add warm golden yellow colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to remain neutral.

The filter's colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a sharp transition between the dense and clear areas. The 2 colour density provides less straw colouration than the 3 density, but more than the 1 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5mm.

For a filter in horizontal orientation, the transition line is parallel to the long side of the filter.

Adds warm golden yellow colouration to selected areas of the image.

The graduated filter design maintains a portion of the image neutral, providing a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
