The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 3 Straw Soft-Edged Graduated filter helps to specifically add a warm golden yellow colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to remain neutral in colour. nnThe filter colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a smooth transition between the density areas and the clear areas. Colour density 3 offers more straw colouration than the density 2 filter.nnThis filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.nnThe transition line of a horizontally oriented filter is parallel to the long side of the filter.nnOffers golden yellow colouration to selected areas of the image.nnThe graduated filter design allows a portion of the image to remain neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
