The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 2 Tangerine Soft Edge Graduated filter specifically helps to add a pale, warm orange colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing part of the image to remain neutral in colour.

The filter colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a soft transition between the density areas and clear areas. Colour density 2 provides less tangerine colouration than the density 3 filter, but more than the density 1 filter.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.

The transition line of a horizontally orientated filter is parallel to the long side of the filter.

Imparts a pale orange colouration to selected areas of the image.

The graduated filter design maintains part of the image neutral, which provides a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
