The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 2 Tangerine Soft Edge graduated filter helps to specifically add a pale, warm orange colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to retain a neutral colour. The filter's colouration is densest at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a smooth transition between the density areas and the clear areas. The colour density 2 provides less tangerine colouration than density 3, but more than the density 1 filter. This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm. The vertical orientation of the filter's transition line is parallel to the short side of the filter. Provides a pale orange colouration to selected areas of the image. The graduated filter design maintains a portion of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
