The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 3 Tropical Blue Soft-Edge Graduated Filter allows you to specifically add cool blue-green colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing a portion of the image to maintain a neutral colour.

The filter colouration is denser at the edge and fades to clear in the middle, with a smooth transition between the dense and clear areas. Colour density 3 provides more tropical blue colouration than the density 2 filter.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.

The transition line of a filter in horizontal orientation is parallel to the long side of the filter.

Provides deep blue-green colouration to selected areas of the image.

The graduated filter design maintains a portion of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
