The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 1 Tobacco Soft-Edge graduated filter allows you to specifically add a warm brownish-yellow colouration to skies and other bright areas of an image whilst allowing part of the image to remain neutral.

The filter colouration is denser at the edge and fades to become clear in the middle, with a smooth transition between the dense and clear areas. The colour density 1 provides a less pronounced tobacco colouration than the density 2 filter.

This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.

The transition line of a filter in horizontal orientation is parallel to the long side of the filter.

Provides warm brownish-yellow colouration to certain areas of the image.

The graduated filter design keeps part of the image neutral, giving a more realistic appearance whilst allowing the sky or other bright areas to take on the colour of the density.
