The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 0.3 soft edge graduated neutral density filter (horizontal orientation) is a graduated neutral density filter that allows specific darkening of skies and other bright areas of the image.

The filter is denser at the edge and fades to transparent in the middle, with a smooth transition line between the dense and transparent areas.

Neutral density filters do not affect image colouration and the 0.3 density provides a one-stop reduction of light entering the lens.

This filter is made from Water White glass and is produced using ColorCore technology, a process that laminates the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and polishes it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm.
