Tiffen 67mm ND .6 Attenuator/Graduated Filter
The Tiffen 67mm 0.6 Neutral Density Attenuator/Graduated Filter is denser at one edge where it corresponds to a reduction in light entering the lens of 2 stops and fades to become transparent at the other edge. Its graduation can be used to selectively darken an image from one edge to another, allowing for wider apertures or reduced shutter speeds. Whilst the 0.6 density of this attenuator/graduated filter can be applied to bright skies, other regions of the image are exposed with a progressively decreasing effect.
This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass, grinding it to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
