This dark yellow 9 filter tends to over-correct the rendering of sky, clouds and foliage in black and white photography with type B panchromatic materials (high red sensitivity) for a more spectacular effect. Designed for black and white photography, this filter can be used with a digital or film camera. Filters for black and white photography allow different filtering effects, including contrast control, skin tone enhancement, tonal corrections and more dramatic landscapes. Although initially intended for use with black and white film, these filters can also be used as a creative tool in colour imaging.
