The Tiffen 49 mm Sepia 2 solid colour filter adds a warm, pale brown-green colouration across the entire image to give a nostalgic, vintage appearance. The solid colour design makes this filter well suited to be combined with other filters for additional control over the image's appearance. Colour density 2 provides less sepia colouration than density 3, but more than the density 1 filter. This filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings. - The sepia colour filter provides warm brown-green colouration and gives your images a vintage appearance. - Solid colour filters apply density uniformly across the entire image plane for a smooth, creative effect.
