The Tiffen 55mm Dark Green #61 Filter is ideal for scenes where it is important to differentiate green tonal values in black and white photography.
That apple arrangement you wish to photograph in natural light with black and white film will have more impact when you use a green filter. The contrast enhancement this filter provides will darken the red values of the apples whilst lightening the green tablecloth on which they rest as well as the green paint on the wall.
