Tiffen 49MM Digital Diffusion FX 1
The Tiffen 49mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1 filter is a softening and diffusion filter specially designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no glare or contrast loss for more subtle applications. It helps to reduce facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 1 offers more softening than 1/2, but less than 2.
This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
