Tiffen 55MM Digital Diffusion FX 3
The Tiffen 55mm Digital Diffusion/FX 3 Filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps reduce facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. The density 3 offers more softening than the 2, but less than the 4. This filter is constructed from Water White glass and manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch, then mounting it in precision metal rings. Features - Softening and diffusion filter to soften skin detail and smooth textured backgrounds. - Gives the impression that no filtration is being used and helps maintain sharp focus. - Water White optical glass for excellent clarity. - Circular size: 55mm filter thread
