Tiffen 58MM Digital Diffusion FX 1/4
The Tiffen 58mm Digital Diffusion/FX 1/4 filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no halation or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps soften facial imperfections, wrinkles and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 1/4 offers less softening than 1/2.
This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is manufactured using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, polishing it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings.
