Tiffen 58MM Digital Diffusion FX 4
The Tiffen 58mm Digital Diffusion/FX 4 filter is a softening and diffusion filter specifically designed to appear invisible, as if no filtration were applied. Compared to other diffusion filters, this filter offers virtually no flare or loss of contrast for more subtle applications. It helps to reduce facial imperfections and wrinkles, and gently softens textured backgrounds whilst maintaining sharp focus. Density 4 offers more softening than the 3, but less than the 5. This filter is made from Water White glass and uses ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting it on precision metal rings. Features - Softening and diffusion filter to soften skin details and smooth textured backgrounds. - Gives the impression that no filtration is being used and helps to maintain sharp focus. - Water White optical glass for excellent clarity. - Circular size: 58mm filter thread
